TIRE and AUTOMOBILE DEALERS

I will sort the tires you have taken off used cars or customer cars and have secured them from pilferage. I will remove the used tires at no charge to you. The passenger tires that lack value will cost $1.50 each for transportation and disposal at my registered site. Passenger tires mounted on wheels will cost $3.50 each. 15, 16 and 16.5-inch Light Truck (LT) tires will cost $1.75 or $4.75 if mounted. Larger light truck and SUV tires will cost $2.00 or $5.00 if mounted. Low Platform Trailer (LPT) and Industrial tires will cost $2.50 each or $6.50 if mounted. Medium Truck and Bus tires from 20 inch thru 24.5 inch will cost $3.00 or $8.00 if mounted. Duplex truck, backhoe and loader/grader tires will be removed and disposed of by weight due to the wide difference in size and weight of these tires. The price per ton is $140 and $200 for large, off road A-2 tires providing you can offer equipment to load them on my truck.

I will provide compliance with California State Law regarding transportation and disposal of Waste or Used Tires with a copy of the Comprehensive Trip Log (CTL), which you are required to keep at the site for 3 years. Our TPID number is 1000077-02 and our trucks are permitted each year. My only interest in this process is the access to used or repairable tires you may not be able to use in the future. If you do not provide a secure area where these tires can be accumulated at your facility and protected from pilferage by employees or the public I will not have an interest in providing this service. You need to know that if you are not protecting your waste tires you could be found liable for up to $10,000 in fines by allowing the tires to be removed from your site without documentation. You have been paying a fee to the State for each tire you buy or sell at your site since 1990 so you need to account for their disposal now.

I will sort the waste tires generated from your vehicles and set up saleable lots. I will assist you in contacting interested buyers for those tires and assure compliance with California State law and protect you from liability when delivering those tires as sold. I will locate and contract with the vendor who provides the lowest cost for removal of the tires which lack value. After deducting the cost for removing/recycling those tires which lack value from the money received for the tires we sold, we will split the net revenue.
